In the modern workplace, social intelligence (SI) has emerged as a critical determinant of professional success and organizational performance. This conceptual study explores the relationship between social intelligence operationalized through Karl Albrecht’s S.P.A.C.E. model (Situational Awareness, Presence, Authenticity, Clarity, and Empathy) and job performance, with interpersonal effectiveness proposed as a mediating construct. Drawing from multidisciplinary literature in psychology, management, and organizational behaviour, the paper argues that the S.P.A.C.E. framework offers a comprehensive behavioral lens to understand how individuals navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. Employees who demonstrate higher social intelligence exhibit enhanced adaptability, communication, and collaboration, leading to stronger workplace relationships and improved performance outcomes. The study also posits that interpersonal effectiveness translates social intelligence competencies into observable behaviors that foster trust, cohesion, and team productivity. By synthesizing theoretical insights, this research contributes to expanding the conceptual understanding of non-cognitive competencies and their impacton organizational effectiveness. It further provides a foundation for future empirical research and practicalinterventions aimed at developing socially intelligent and interpersonally effective workforces in today’s rapidly evolving global environment. The morphophysiological data was recorded on the height of the plant, number of tillers per plant, panicle height and panicle number, thousand -kernel weight, grain length and width, yield, and disease incidence. Along with that, in the plant height, panicle length, spikelet fertility, grain type, thousand-kernel weight, yield at a moisture of 14% and number of effective tillers were also measured during the study. BHR-501, BHR-502, BHR-503, BHR-504, BHR-505 and BHR-506 were the six hybrid lines under investigation. BHR-506 gave the highest yield, then BHR-501, BHR-502, BHR-503, BHR-504, and BHR-505, respectively.
