Annals of Medical and Surgical Dermatology (ISSN: 3048-5185) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes research on diseases of the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. It covers medical, surgical, cosmetic, and paediatric dermatology, together with venereology, leprology, dermatopathology, and cutaneous biology. The journal serves dermatologists, dermatologic and plastic surgeons, dermatopathologists, paediatricians, general practitioners, nurses, cosmetic scientists, and laboratory researchers. Clinical trials, observational studies, case series, laboratory investigations, and health services research are all considered, as are qualitative studies and research on dermatology education and training. Studies from every region are welcome, and work on skin of colour and on conditions common in tropical and resource-limited settings is particularly encouraged. Cosmetic and procedural studies should report safety and outcomes measured in a standardised way. Product descriptions without study data fall outside the journal’s scope.

We accept a diverse range of scholarly contributions, including Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Clinical Commentaries, Brief Report /Short Communications, Case Reports, Mini Reviews, Editorials, Letter to the Editor, Perspectives and Book Review.
