Journal of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences is a biannual, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes research on mental health, mental illness, and human behaviour. Its coverage runs from the neurobiology of mental disorders through clinical psychiatry and psychology to prevention, community mental health, and policy. The journal serves psychiatrists, clinical and counselling psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, neuroscientists, public health researchers, and educators. Clinical trials, observational, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies are all considered, along with the validation of assessment tools and evaluations of services, digital tools, and community programmes.

We accept a diverse range of scholarly contributions, including Original Research Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications, Case studies, Mini Reviews, and Perspective/Opinion Papers.
